I'm Stephanie, the owner of The Golden Finn and a Midwest Native residing in Arkansas with my two best friends - Finn and Nigel. 

The inspiration behind this company, and well, just about everything I pursue in my life is my dogs. 

Finn (@thegoldenfinn on Instagram) has been my BFF since 2015. He is a dark red golden retriever and I got him while getting my masters in biomedical science.

Over two years, I discovered the ways of running a successful dog Instagram and building a presence + brand around my dog. This provided the foundation I needed to ditch the lab coat and live my dream of becoming a wedding photographer. 

Over the last 5 years, Finn and I have traveled to 13 states together and created memories I will never forget (thanks to the trusty ol camera).

Finn loves the simple things in life, like squirrels, tennis balls, and food. He is extremely loyal and relaxed - but that has also come with the beauty of age. I love him waking me up every morning for belly rubs. Then he ALWAYS goes to find his dog bowl and flings it around the house until he is fed.

In 2019, the biggest wiggle butt of all time came into my life - my English springer spaniel named Nigel. We call him Bill Nye the Nigel Guy as an ode to my science background. He has the biggest personality and bugs + squirrels are his biggest loves and motivators for waking me up at 7am everyday. 

The experience of raising two dogs while discovering how to build a brand and running a social media account for them wasn't necessarily easy. Recognizing that struggle and my passion for helping other dog parents sparked the idea for The Golden Finn so that you (unlike what I had access to) will have all the proper resources to guide you to success!
